About InforMed
We were in those group chats.
That is the whole reason this exists. InforMed was founded by two pharmacists who watched clinical decisions get made on the back of advice from people whose credentials nobody had ever checked.
Convenient, fast, and completely unaccountable.
In a world of instant messaging, the line between convenience and clinical accuracy has blurred. Group chats offer speed, but they have no verification, no peer-reviewed sourcing, and no GDPR position of the kind professional practice demands.
Healthcare professionals need a space that bridges modern connectivity and old-fashioned clinical rigour. From WhatsApp groups that quietly breach information governance to public forums where registration can't be confirmed, the channels clinicians rely on were never designed for clinical advice. So we built one that was.
Every part of InforMed, from verification through to data handling, is built to meet the standards UK healthcare professionals are already expected to uphold.
